biography

Dr. Hilmi Abdul Salam completed his MBBS at the J.S.S. Medical College, Mysore University, India in 2003. In 2009, he completed his Diploma in Oto-Laryngology (D.L.0) at the Government Medical College, Kottayam, India. In 2010, Dr Hilmi achieved his Masters of Surgery (M.S) specializing in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) from Kottayam Government Medical College, Mahatma Gandhi University, India.

Dr. Hilmi started his career at the A.K.G Memorial Co-operative Hospital, Kannur, Kerala in 2004 where he practiced for 3 years as Resident Medical Officer and Chief Medical Officer in Department of Casualty/ER. Dr Hilmi subsequently moved to the Kottayam Government Medical College in 2007 for his post graduation training in DLO & MS. ENT. In 2010, Dr. Hilmi moved back to the A.K.G Memorial Co-operative Hospital as an ENT Surgeon/Endoscopic Sinus & Microlaryngeal Surgeon.

Dr. Hilmi is well versed in all Ear, Nose and Throat procedures with specialized skills in endoscopic surgeries. He has more than 13 years of experience and has been active in teaching and training medical students, as well as being a mentor to junior clinicians. He has also been a part of a number of medical conferences as well as written a number of papers around ENT which have been published in renowned medical journals.
